WARREN, Ohio — Today’s workplace is more diverse than ever, with as many as five generations working side by side. While these differences can create challenges, they also present tremendous opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and organizational success. To help organizations harness the strengths of a multigenerational workforce, Leadership Mahoning Valley will present “The Power of a Multigenerational Team”, an interactive workshop in its Lessons in Leadership series on Friday, August 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Grand Resort, 9519 E. Market Street, Warren, has been POSTPONED.
Presented by Kane Learning, the workshop will provide practical strategies for understanding the characteristics, communication styles, motivations, and perspectives of each generation in today’s workforce. Participants will learn how to bridge generational differences, strengthen collaboration, improve communication, and create high-performing teams that leverage the unique strengths of every employee.
“As workplaces continue to evolve, successful leaders understand that generational diversity is one of their greatest assets,” said JoAnn Stock, President of Leadership Mahoning Valley. “This workshop will equip participants with practical tools to build stronger teams, foster greater understanding, and create a workplace culture where every generation can contribute and thrive.”
Participants will discover how to:
- Recognize the unique strengths and perspectives each generation brings to the workplace.
- Improve communication across generations.
- Turn generational differences into opportunities for innovation and collaboration.
- Build stronger, more cohesive teams centered on shared values and common goals.
- Create a workplace culture that attracts, engages, and retains employees of all ages.
The program begins with registration, networking, and lunch from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by the workshop from noon until 2 p.m. Registration is $60 per person, which includes lunch. Organizations are encouraged to attend together and can take advantage of a group rate of $300, which includes registration for six participants from the same organization.
The workshop is ideal for business leaders, nonprofit executives, supervisors, managers, human resource professionals, board members, and anyone responsible for leading teams in today’s evolving workplace.
