As part of its new Lessons in Leadership Speaker Series, Leadership Mahoning Valley will present an educational workshop, “Generations in the Workplace – The Power of a Multi-Generational Team.” The lunch and learn event will be held on Friday, September 12, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Waypoint 4180, 4180 Westford Place in Canfield, OH  44406.

In this interactive workshop, participants will explore the unique characteristics and strengths of each generation, discover practical strategies for building understanding, and learn how to transform potential challenges into opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and growth. By tapping into shared values and common goals, participants will learn to unlock the power of a dynamic, cohesive, and high-performing team.

Today’s workplace is more diverse in age and experience than ever before. With multiple generations working side by side, organizations have an incredible opportunity to harness a wide range of perspectives, skills, and ideas. When embraced, these differences fuel innovation, creativity, and stronger results.

The workshop will be presented by Lisa Russell of Kane Learning. Lisa is a dynamic facilitator with over 20 years of learning and development experience. She helps clients develop talent by focusing on the unique contributions leaders can make to grow their team and the organization. Lisa translates insights into meaningful outcomes by highlighting the intersection of learning, connection, and strategic thinking. Lisa has a Master’s of Labor and Human Resources, Human Resources Development from The Ohio State University.
